The Gefran 2308 is an 8-zone indicator / alarm unit for process monitoring involving transmitters (4…20mA, 0…10V) and temperature sensors. In conjunction with the MD81 expansion unit up to 10 relay outputs are available.
The 2308 concentrates up to 8 signals from different types of inputs, such as thermocouples, resistance thermometers (2 or 3 wires), or linear signals. (4...20mA, 0...50mV), while simultaneously reading data via serial line and providing alarm relays for setpoints: all this makes it absolutely unique. Its characteristics of configurability, as well as spees of acquisition and response, mean that it is an extremly versatile instrument that may be used for the display of physical phenomena with alarm switching in a diversity of indusrtial applications.
